World Carnival Commission Invites You To A Carnival Breakfast With Trinidad Minister of Arts

The Meeting

This meeting will cover discussions and presentations on global carnivals and how the culture is developing around the world.

The President of World Carnival Commission Mr Henry Antoine commented "It is important to acknowledge the contribution the Trini style carnivals has achieved throughout the years globally. The Commission is part and parcel of the future developments of this art and its community. I believe we the international movement has gone so far as to brand carnival in North America and Europe which is now known as (Trini Style Carnival) and now its time to share and compare notes for the future."

GCC Executive Director who is also the WCC Vice President Pax Nindi commented on the reason for inviting the Minister to the Breakfast "WCC will be seeking the Minister's input in developing closer links and relationship between Trinidad and Tobago Carnivals and other global carnivals . I feel Trinidad has a lot to offer as it has always done but also has the opportunity to learn from non Trinidad style carnivals."

The event is for anyone interested in global carnivals and meeting the Minister of Arts and Multiculturalism in Trinidad and Tobago.
